COMING OCTOBER 1, 2026
We are pleased to offer the possibilty to request Mass Intentions from the comfort of your home or office using a credit card. The procedure is self-explanatory, but here is an overview:
We are pleased to offer the possibility to request Mass Intentions and Memorials from the comfort of your home or office using a credit card. Here’s how:
• Click on the above red button “Request Mass Intentions”. This will take you to our Mass Scheduling website. Available Masses will appear in the color teal; unavailable Masses will be in grey. If you are interested in Memorials, that button is at the top of the page.
• Select the Mass you’d like to reserve which will open up a simple form where you will enter:
-Who the intention is for,
-Who is requesting the intention,
-What is the occasion (deceased, living or special intention)
-Whether you need a Mass card. If you do, let us know if you want it mailed to you or if you want to pick it up. Cards are available at the Parish Office or in the Sacristy.
-When you’ve finished completing the necessary information, add the intention to your shopping cart.
• From the shopping cart, either: “Add another request” (you can request 3 intentions/memorials per shopping trip), or “Proceed to Checkout”.
• When you checkout, you will need to provide your name, address, phone number and an email address. If you do not have an email account, you cannot request Mass intentions online. Once all the fields have been completed, click “Save and Continue” which will take you to a summary of your transaction. There is a nominal credit card fee automatically applied to the transaction. If you’d like to make an additional donation you are welcome to do so.
• When you choose to “Pay Now”, you will be prompted for your credit card number and associated billing information. Be assured that this transaction is taking place on a secure website. We do not retain your credit card number.
• Once you “Complete Transaction” your Mass is reserved and the office is notified that an intention is “pending”. We will review the request to make sure it is a legitimate intention. Once we approve it, your credit card will be charged and the intention request finalized. Please note, we will not approve more than three Masses per household during the first month – until November 1. Your receipt will be emailed to you and, if you requested a card to be sent to your home, it will be placed in the outgoing mail.

HOW TO REPORT ABUSE
The Archdiocese of Newark takes very seriously any and all complaints of sexual misconduct by members of the clergy, Religious and lay staff of the Archdiocese. We encourage anyone with knowledge of an act of sexual misconduct to inform the Archdiocese immediately so that we may take appropriate actions to protect others and provide support to the victims of sexual abuse. Although we will report all allegations of abuse immediately to the appropriate County Prosecutor, we encourage anyone with an allegation of abuse also to reach out to the prosecutor. Individuals who report an allegation of sexual misconduct may do so by calling the Victim’s Assistance Coordinator of the Archdiocesan Office of Child and Youth Protection at 201-407-3256. The numbers for the County Prosecutors within the Archdiocese are: Bergen (201-226-5689), Essex (973-753-1121), Hudson (201-795-6400), Union (908-965-3879)
